BRIEF

Situated in the heart of Bole, across from Millennium Hall, this building was designed to accommodate La Nouvelle café, a penthouse, and hotel apartments. Our client enlisted Mugo to design the interiors for La Nouvelle, the hotel lobby, the penthouse, and the individual hotel apartments.

HIGHLIGHTS

Mugo identified structural and functional problems during our assessment. We elevated room heights, rebuilt staircases, concealed structural obstructions, and sourced materials from China in three weeks, enhancing functionality, aesthetics, and layout for our client.

CHALLENGE

Upon our initial assessment, we found architectural issues impeding our interior design process. The hotel room heights stairs blocked functional flow, and finishing materials were improperly installed

STRATEGY

Identifying structural and functional issues, we planned extensive architectural changes, facade design, interior design, project management, and material sourcing. We adjusted room heights, rebuilt staircases, concealed columns, and sourced finishing materials from China in just 20 days.
