BRIEF

Mugo was tasked with redesigning a meet- ing hall and its lobby for the president of oromia office with a high end finishing mate- rial. Mugo responded to the request for the client by integrating the oromo people cul- ture with modern design concepts.

Mugo is proud to have provided international standards in staging a meeting hall and able to instill cultural relevance in its designs.

CHALLENGE

Since the design has been done before with chinese consultant and the construction was on going, the timeline that has been given for us to redesign was limited and we had to use their drawing as a reference but when it comes to actual, we started to see differences.

STRATEGY

Our scope covered Interior design, structural modification,electrical, sanitary, mechan- ical design,project management as well as finishing matterial supplier communication. In order to address our unfamiliarity with the accoustic material for such meeting hall and its sound system, we contracted a Public Address and Video Alarm System consul- tant to work in conjunction with our design process
