BRIEF

Mugo was tasked with designing a conference room, fixed with high-tech features; to include interactive screens, a built in sound system and adapted control systems.

HIGHLIGHTS

In addition to meeting our brief in designing a secure room with high-tech features, we are most proud of the work we did to ensure that the space was cohesive and evoked a familiar aesthetic feeling to the rest of the building.

CHALLENGE

The room that this project was to assume was located inside an older building, and once served as a canteen, so it required a redesign and rebuild to accommodate for the new features and layout. We also aimed to replicate familiar details from other floors in the building to assert aesthetic cohesion.

STRATEGY

Our scope covered design, project management as well as construction and finishing for the interior. Our aesthetic direction was informed by the research we conducted into other floors, to evoke a familiar feeling across the building.
